Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• North Carolina Locksmith License within 60 days of hire and to be maintained.
• Experience as a locksmith, preferably in an institutional setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain locking systems, door hardware, and keying infrastructure per University specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, architects, vendors, faculty and staff.
• Provide cost estimates and proposals; monitor orders; allocate resources to projects.
• Lead and mentor other locksmith staff; ensure safety codes compliance and high-quality service.
