Job summary

Marshall University is seeking a Landscape Worker to perform routine grounds and landscape maintenance across campus properties in Huntington, WV. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and directed grounds and landscape maintenance (mowing lawns, trimming, edging around trees, shrubs, and flowers).
• Water lawns, shrubs, and ornamental gardens as needed.
• Remove trash and debris, monitor campus grounds for litter, and assist with event setup/teardown.
• Install and secure landscape blocks and perform basic maintenance of landscape infrastructure.
• Respond to storms and emergencies, and participate in weekend/overtime coverage for athletic events.
