Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Utility Worker for the Boston campus location. The role focuses on cleaning, sanitation, and organization across food production and service areas, with duties ranging from dishwashing to restocking and basic setup.

The position requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed. You will work weekends with morning/afternoon/evening shifts, supporting kitchen and facility operations under Sodexo’s guidelines and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety basics.
• Ability to perform cleaning and basic kitchen support tasks.
• Willingness to work weekends and variable shifts.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or use dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize tables, walls, refrigerators, and equipment.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; empty trash.
• Restock supplies such as soap and towels; handle basic set-up/break-down tasks.
• Adhere to sanitary standards and assist with other duties as needed.
