Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years cooking experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• ServSafe Certification.

Responsibilities

• Time food production to ensure all items are ready at service.
• Prepare items according to recipes to preserve freshness and appeal.
• Utilize batch cooking to control production and waste.
• Follow safe food handling practices at all times.
• Label and date stored foods per standards.
• Maintain proper temperatures for hot and cold items.
• Keep logs for temps and inspections.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace and follow rules.
• Open/close kitchen if required, secure areas and equipment.
• Keep a safe, organized work area; wear PPE as needed.
• Communicate needs to supervisor promptly.
• Monitor equipment and report discrepancies.
• Support other kitchen staff in essential functions.
• Proactively communicate in posting areas.
