Job summary

This position is located at the Cal Poly Solano Campus in Vallejo, California. Under the general supervision of the Director for Student Rights & Responsibilities at the San Luis Obispo campus, the University Judicial Coordinator will receive and investigate reports of alleged misconduct at the Solano Campus as well as assigned cases across the broader university, including the San Luis Obispo campus.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with student conduct management systems.
• Working knowledge of techniques for dealing with and solving problems from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to utilize advanced skills in community engagement.
• Ability to advise students individually and in groups on complex matters.
• Ability to adapt to high-pressure situations and manage fluctuating caseloads.

Responsibilities

• Receive and investigate reports of alleged misconduct at the Solano Campus and across the university.
• Perform judicial investigations and provide analysis and outcomes while ensuring compliance with CSU EO 1098.
• Determine appropriate university disciplinary actions and sanctions.
