Job summary

HHS is seeking a friendly, compassionate team member to join our housekeeping team at Tri-County Technical College in Pendleton, SC. This full-time, day-shift custodian role offers a wage of $13/hour and requires passing background checks and a drug screen.

You will clean classrooms, restrooms, cafeterias, and other campus areas while following established procedures, providing excellent service to campus guests, and supporting the department to operate efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
• Preferred: Custodial experience ( cleaning, housekeeping, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician )

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas of the university campus, including classrooms, common areas, restrooms, cafeterias, and more
• Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals on campus
• Perform cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures to maintain floors
• Perform floor stripping and extraction projects as assigned
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
