Job summary

Ilisagvik College in Alaska is seeking an IT Systems & Network Administrator to manage servers, networks, and user systems, delivering Tier 1 and 2 support, and ensuring security and reliability campus-wide.

The role supports planning, budgeting, VoIP, LMS, cloud services, documentation, and special projects under the IT Manager, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a base salary of $78,419.25/year plus DOE and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or related field.
• 2+ years in Windows Server administration & network support.
• Experience with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, VoIP, and network protocols.
• Familiarity with backups, security, and endpoint management.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain LAN/WAN networks, wireless systems, servers, access points, and endpoint devices.
• Deploy, configure, and monitor servers, storage systems, and network devices.
• Manage and maintain Active Directory, group policies, DNS, DHCP, and related services.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to end users.
• Maintain and troubleshoot user accounts, system permissions, and email accounts.
• Ensure IT security practices across systems, networks, and cloud services.
• Track and maintain IT assets, including computers, printers, and network equipment.
• Research and recommend hardware/software upgrades and improvements.
