Ilisagvik College in Utqiaġvik, Alaska seeks an Associate Dean of Academic Affairs to lead on-site operations, support faculty, and advance student success across Instructional Programming, Workforce Development, and Library services.
Reporting to the Dean, this role manages curriculum development, assessment, accreditation, scheduling, and grant projects, while mentoring staff and coordinating with Student Services.

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
COMPENSATION: $100,081.80 - $105,077.70/year + DOE + Benefits, Exempt Permanent Full-Time Position

Under the supervision of the Dean of Academic Affairs, the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs is a key on-site leadership position for supporting and fostering a positive and growth-focused team atmosphere that contributes to and fosters student success. This position will work closely with the Dean of Academic Affairs, faculty, adjunct faculty, as well as cross-departmentally.
The Academic Affairs Office oversees the following divisions: Instructional Programming (Academic and Career & Technical Education), Workforce Development, Tuzzy Consortium Library, and Education Technology.

Ilisagvik College offers health insurance to our employees with a no cost premium, and $50/pay period for each additional dependent and a low cost annual deductible of $200 for employee only and $600 for family.
Life Insurance – Ilisagvik College offers Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage through Guardian Life to employees at no cost to the employee in the amount of $100,000 per benefit.
