Job Title: Student Involvement Marketing Student Assistant – Institutional Student Worker

Location: UNG-Dahlonega, GA

Position: Temporary, Part‑Time

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for the Student Involvement Marketing Student Assistant. This position is an integral member of the team that helps plan, prepare, and deliver comprehensive digital and physical marketing materials on behalf of Student Involvement.

Responsibilities

• Generate marketing for a variety of CSEL initiatives including, but not limited to, weekly bathroom newsletters, weekly electronic newsletters, flyers, and banners.
• Develop photo, video, and other content for the CSEL social media.
• Approve and fulfill marketing requests through UNG Connect.
• Help bring new ideas for design, content creation, and merch to the CSEL team.
• Assist CSEL with university‑wide events (i.e. Spirit Nights, Nighthawk Fest) through recruitment/tabling efforts, content creation, and helping on site when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Excellent communicator and creative thinker.
• Active and well‑rounded social media presence with knowledge of best practices on a variety of platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to handle a variety of projects efficiently and independently.
• Skilled in design programs such as Adobe Express, Canva, Illustrator, etc.
• Ability to navigate UNG Connect confidently.

Required Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Acrobat, Lightroom, Photoshop, etc.) preferred.
• Experience with photography, videography, and related technology preferred.
