Job summary

Capital Group seeks a dedicated student for the Internal Sales (SLATE) Associate program in Carmel, IN. You\'ll receive best-in-class training in finance knowledge and sales skills, with a path to full-time opportunities.

You\'ll work with experienced colleagues and gain exposure to Capital\'s investment products and client approaches. Throughout the 12-month program you\'ll receive coaching, technical training on markets and products, and soft-skill development.

Qualifications

• Full-time student pursuing a bachelor\'s degree, Spring 2027 anticipated graduation.
• GPA of 3.0 or above required.
• Strong interest in sales or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the SLATE training program and develop financial industry knowledge.
• Learn sales skills and build relationships with investors.
• Support transition from classroom to career with coaching and development.
• Prepare for potential full-time placement in internal wholesaler roles.

As one of our Sales Learning Agility Training Experience (SLATE) associates you will receive best-in-class training to develop your financial industry knowledge and sales skills, with individualized development to support your transition from the classroom into your career. You will work with highly skilled and experienced colleagues, building relationships while moving through various experiences in an environment that fosters innovation to serve our investors. After successful completion of the 12-month program, you will be eligible for full-time placement in our Internal Wholesaler roles in our Carmel, IN office.

• You’ll receive individualized and cohort-focused coaching and development from your program manager
• You’ll receive technical training on the financial services industry, financial markets, and American Funds products through a combination of classroom and experiential learnings
• You’ll receive soft-skill training on presentations and consultative solutions, preparing you with the tools needed to drive business success
• You’ll have the opportunity to network with and learn from senior leadership throughout the program
• You’ll receive resources and support to prepare and sit for your FINRA SIE, Series 7 and 66 licenses

• You are a full-time student pursuing a bachelor's degree, with an anticipated graduation date of Spring 2027.

Indianapolis Base Salary Range: $55,614-$88,982

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
