Job summary

Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to maintain and repair campus mechanical systems, boilers, chillers and BAS networks to keep classrooms comfortable and operations efficient. The role requires three years of HVAC experience or an approved apprenticeship/education substitution, and a valid driver’s license.

This full-time position offers an hourly wage of $30.90 and includes duties ranging from routine servicing to complex system diagnoses across campus

Qualifications

• Three years of HVAC work experience.
• Substitutions: appropriate education or successful completion of a formal apprenticeship may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and operates campus mechanical systems ( boilers, chillers, pumps, fans, boilers, and related equipment).
• Operates and troubleshoots building automation systems and BAS sensors.
• Serves preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations of mechanical systems and kitchen equipment in campus facilities.
