Job summary

Fort Lewis College seeks a sub journeyman level technician to support Mechanical Systems Maintenance. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on fans, furnaces, and kitchen equipment, plus basic motor lubrication and belt changes. Work with journeyman personnel to install and maintain systems.

The role requires a minimum of two years related experience or equivalent education, and basic computer and customer-service skills. The position is on-site in Durango with overtime potential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain supply, return, and exhaust fans and furnaces; inspect and lubricate motors.
• Change filters and belts; inspect dampers and controls for proper operation.
• Assist journeyman level personnel in installing and maintaining mechanical systems.
