Job summary
Bucks County Community College in Newtown is seeking an HVAC and Plumbing Mechanic to operate, maintain, and repair campus HVAC, plumbing, and BAS control systems. The role requires knowledge of boilers, steam and hot water heating, chillers, refrigeration, electrical controls and plumbing.
You will work on equipment from ladders and lifts, lift 50 lbs, and hold a valid driver's license. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, 403B, life and disability insurance,
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required with 3-5 years of HVAC/plumbing experience.
- Experience with air handling equipment, BAS, and building systems.
- Ability to fabricate/install piping and diagnose electrical/mechanical issues.
- Demonstrated ability to use meters/gauges and troubleshoot effectively.
Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and repair campus HVAC, plumbing, and BAS systems.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair boilers, chillers, and piping network.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure safety and compliance.
