Job summary

Bucks County Community College in Newtown, PA, is seeking an HVAC and Plumbing Mechanic to operate, maintain, and repair campus HVAC, plumbing, and BAS control systems. The role requires experience with boilers, steam and hot water heating, chillers, refrigeration, electrical controls, and water treatment; the schedule is 1st shift, Tuesday–Saturday.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma and 3–5 years in HVAC maintenance, BAS, and mechanical systems, plus ability to lift 50 lbs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 3–5 years’ experience with air handling equipment maintenance.
• 3–5 years’ experience with BAS and mechanical systems.
• Ability to fabricate and install piping for HVAC repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot with meters, gauges, and diagnostics.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and operate ladders or lifts.
