Job summary

JLL is seeking a dependable HVAC boiler and chiller technician to support heating and cooling for a university campus in Nashville. You will operate, inspect, and repair high‑pressure boilers and chillers, monitor performance, and maintain meticulous records.

You must have HVAC trade school certification and 2–4 years of relevant experience, be able to lift 50 lbs, hold a Tennessee driver’s license, and work rotating shifts with after‑hours readiness.

Qualifications

• Certification from an accredited HVAC trade school.
• 2-4 years' experience in operation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC equipment or high-pressure boiler/steam/chiller environments.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing 50 lbs or more.
• Valid Tennessee Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, maintain, and repair high‑pressure boilers and chillers.
• Monitor system operations and maintain detailed records.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and identify hazards.
• Escort vendors for routine preventive maintenance or repairs.
• Work rotating shifts and respond to after-hours emergencies within 45 minutes.
