Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in janitorial services and/or facilities upkeep.
• Proficient in basic computer programs.
• Experience working with adolescents required.
• Must enjoy being part of a team.
• Demonstrated knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment used in cleaning facilities.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• ASMS background checks per Alabama Child Protection Act.

Responsibilities

• Oversee campus housekeeping operations and ensure clean, safe facilities.
• Manage work service students, including training, scheduling, and supervision.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and facilities equipment.
• Set up rooms/spaces for events as required.
• Support adherence to ASMS policies and Emergency Procedures.
