Job summary

HES Facilities is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dormitory environment for students and staff. You will clean and sanitize bathrooms in resident rooms, sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and care for lounges, laundry rooms, and all common areas; handle daily side work; report maintenance or safety concerns; prior custodial experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and efficiently (must be able to manage time and priorities).
• Strong attention to detail in cleaning and sanitizing areas.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality to meet shift requirements.
• Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks, including lifting bags and operating cleaning equipment.
• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms located inside resident rooms.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, and front entryways.
• Clean and organize lounges, laundry rooms, and all common areas.
• Complete daily side work and additional cleaning assignments.
• Pull and dispose of trash as needed.
• Restock supplies when necessary.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to management.
