Job summary

Gentle Touch Health Initiatives is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain cleanliness across the campus for residents, families, staff and visitors. Weekly cleaning and laundry in residents' rooms, plus project and seasonal cleaning duties as assigned.

You will follow the daily schedule, stock supplies, and keep common areas neat and safe. Shifts are typically 8am–4:30pm in a climate-controlled indoor environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year housekeeping/cleaning experience.
• Able to read, write, spell, do basic math, speak and understand English.
• Ability to work independently and stay motivated.
• Flexible to work with staff and residents.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
• Maintains confidentiality.
• Good work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, quality cleaning for residents and staff.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and cleaning cart.
• Follow routines and instructions per the housekeeping schedule.
• Ensure resident apartments and laundry are clean and sanitized as scheduled.
• Maintain inventory for daily needs and report supply issues.
• Assist in keeping all common areas neat, clean and safe.
• Follow the daily schedule to complete tasks on time.
