Gentle Touch Health Initiatives in Hopkins, MN is seeking a full-time housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness of the campus and ensure residents, families and staff have a positive impression. Responsibilities include cleaning common areas, weekly room cleaning and laundry in residents' rooms.

Shifts vary and candidates should be able to work weekends, holidays, evenings, or overnight, with physical ability to lift and move supplies and operate cleaning equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year housekeeping/cleaning experience.
• Able to read, write, spell, do basic math, speak and understand English.
• Ability to motivate oneself and work independently.
• Ability to be flexible and to work with other staff and residents.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
• Good work ethic.
• Maintains confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent & quality work to the residents and staff.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and cleaning cart.
• Follow job routines and instructions according to the assigned housekeeping schedule.
• Assure resident apartment and laundry are clean and sanitized as scheduled.
• Maintain inventory for daily needs & notify supervisor of supply issues.
• Assist in keeping all common areas neat, clean and safe.
• Follow the daily schedule to ensure all tasks are accomplished in a timely manner.
• Vacuum hallways, elevators and furniture.
• Wash inside glass doors and windows.
• Sweep and/or mopping floors.
