Job summary

Beloit College is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and safety of more than 80 campus buildings. The role involves routine cleaning, trash removal, restroom sanitation, and assisting with event setup under supervisor guidance.

Strong attention to safety, flexibility, and ability to work with diverse staff and students is essential. Valid driver's license and on-call availability are required.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning tasks in assigned areas in accordance with established procedures and safety rules.
• Routine cleaning tasks include collecting trash, cleaning restrooms, dusting walls, sweeping and vacuuming, and replacing light bulbs.
• Care of floors and woodwork, snow removal assistance, and setting up furnishings for events as needed.
• Keeps equipment clean and reports malfunctions to supervisor; follows safety regulations.
• Maintains supply orders and works as part of a team with facilities staff and student workers.
• Trains and coordinates student employees and ensures security of keys and access areas.
