Job Title: Campus Host

Supervisor: Associate Director of Recruiting

Purpose of the Job

The Campus Host supports the Director and Associate Directors by overseeing the recruiting of prospective students, primarily through on-campus visits.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries about the seminary and college via telephone and other requests.
• Schedule appointments for prospective students with Admissions Counselors, faculty, and other offices; coordinate Manor House reservations.
• Welcome and host prospective students and their guests.
• Coordinate campus visits, including group visits.
• Work with the Associate Director to oversee the Student Ambassador Program: train, supervise, and assign work to student employees.
• Conduct calling and email campaigns to prospective students.
• Ensure front office staffing during all office hours.

Other Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with application processing and guided tours.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions.
• Travel for recruiting trips.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Train and manage campus tour guides.
• Evaluate and recommend tour guide personnel.

• Willingness to travel and flexibility.
• Excellent administrative skills and ability to collaborate with others.

Additional Information

• No fiscal responsibility.
• Extensive public contact within and outside the institution.
• Physical demands include lifting materials up to 100 lbs and walking during tours and campus visits.
• Travel may be required occasionally, sometimes during unusual hours due to conference or booth staffing needs.

This position is restricted to current SEBTS students and spouses of SEBTS students.
