Job summary

Principia invites applications for the Manager of Hospitality and Events to oversee daily campus event operations, guest services, conference support, and hospitality functions including the Guest House. You will coordinate logistics, supervise event staff, and ensure exceptional guest experiences aligned with institutional standards.

Reporting to the Director of Events & Hospitality, you will collaborate with Student Life, Facilities, Dining Services, and other campus partners to deliver

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in event operations, hospitality, conference services, guest services, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Experience supervising staff or student workers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and executes logistical aspects of campus events, conferences, meetings, and special programs.
• Serves as the operational lead for assigned events, ensuring facilities, catering, technology, transportation, and staffing needs are met.
• Assists with major institutional events including Commencement, Convocation, and Homecoming.
• Supports campus departments and student organizations with event planning and execution.
• Maintains event records, budgets, invoices, and reporting.
