Weber State University’s Department of Student Health, Advocacy, and Wellness (SHAW) invites applications for an SHAW Intern position at Weber State University in Ogden, UT. As an SHAW Intern you will educate peers, assist with programming and outreach, research campus concerns, and work on an interdisciplinary team under supervision of SHAW staff.

Qualifications

• Current WSU student
• Minimum GPA 2.0
• Must register for 12 credit hours (6 in summer)
• Eligible for internship credit
• Majoring in Health Promotion, Nutrition Education, Public Health, Health Administration, or related field

Responsibilities

• Serve as peer educators, creating health communications across formats and events
• Assist with SHAW programming, marketing, outreach and promotions
• Research campus concerns and evidence-based solutions
• Maintain familiarity with campus and community resources
• Work on an interdisciplinary team with other interns
