Job summary

University Health Services (UHS) at Penn State University is seeking a full-time Student Health Physician (Primary Care) to provide high-quality medical care to Penn State students in a collaborative campus clinic.

The successful candidate will manage acute illnesses, preventive care, and health counseling, using an EMR system. Requires MD/DO and PA license with 8+ years of experience in outpatient primary care; college health experience preferred. Some Saturday shifts; no overnight calls.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and PA medical license.
• 8+ years of relevant clinical experience.
• Experience in outpatient primary care and college health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services including assessment, treatment of acute illnesses, injuries, chronic problems.
• Deliver preventive care and health counseling to students.
• Work as part of a collaborative healthcare team and maintain EMR documentation.
