University Health Services (UHS) at Penn State University is seeking a full-time Student Health Physician (Primary Care) to provide high-quality medical care to Penn State students in a collaborative campus clinic.

The successful candidate will manage acute illnesses, preventive care, and health counseling, using an EMR system. Requires MD/DO and PA license with 8+ years of experience in outpatient primary care; college health experience preferred. Some Saturday shifts; no overnight calls.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services including assessment, treatment of acute illnesses, injuries, chronic problems.

This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student well-being through comprehensive primary care services while working as part of a collaborative and supportive healthcare team.

Position Summary

University Health Services (UHS) invites applications for a full-time Student Health Physician (Primary Care Physician). Responsibilities include clinical assessment and treatment for acute illnesses, injuries, chronic problems, preventive care, and health counseling. UHS remains committed to advancing student wellness while creating community, access, and belonging for all Penn State students. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, electronic medical record knowledge, and outpatient primary care experience, with college health experience preferred.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time, year-round position with some Saturday shifts during the fall and spring semesters. There is no overnight or weekend call.

Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $198,756.00 - $308,040.00. Salary Structure - Information on Penn State's salary structure.
