Job summary

Aramark Facilities Management is hiring a Groundskeeper to support Rivier University in Nashua, New Hampshire. This hands-on role covers mowing, edging, trimming, weeding, irrigation repairs, and seasonal property upkeep across campus, with a focus on appearance, safety, and welcoming outdoor spaces.

You will operate commercial equipment, assist with snow and ice removal in winter, and adapt to varying weather.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of grounds-keeping, landscaping, lawn care, or outdoor property maintenance experience.
• Experience operating commercial grounds-keeping and landscaping equipment.
• Knowledge of mowing, edging, trimming, weed control, and general grounds maintenance practices.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout all seasons.
• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, walk, and stand for extended periods.
• Valid non-commercial driver's license.
• Availability to work Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM.
• Flexibility to assist with snow removal and weather-related operational needs outside of regular hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mowing, edging, trimming, weeding, and general landscape maintenance throughout campus grounds.
• Maintain the appearance and safety of lawns, walkways, parking areas, and outdoor common spaces.
• Assist with irrigation system repairs and troubleshooting as needed.
• Operate commercial grounds-keeping equipment including mowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools.
• Complete seasonal grounds-keeping tasks such as leaf removal, planting, mulching, and debris cleanup.
• Participate in snow removal and ice management operations during winter weather events.
• Inspect, clean, and perform basic maintenance on grounds equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Identify and report equipment issues, safety concerns, or property maintenance needs.
• Follow all company and site safety procedures while working around equipment, pedestrians, and campus traffic.
• Support a positive campus experience by maintaining high standards of appearance across university property.
