Job summary

SSC Services for Education is hiring a full-time Groundskeeper for Greensboro College at 815 Market Street, Greensboro, NC. The role runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with some flexibility for other locations within the school district.

Pay ranges from $14.50 to $15.00 per hour, with benefits after probation and opportunities for training and growth. The Groundskeeper will maintain lawns, plants, and landscape features, perform inspections, and support general site maintenance.

Qualifications

• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Plans and administers a program of grounds and plant maintenance, including growing schedules and propagation through plants and cuttings.
• Responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the care of grasses and plants.
• Trims, prunes and removes scrubs, bushes and trees.
• Performs general janitorial duties including property inspections, landscaping and grounds maintenance.
