Job summary

State of Minnesota is seeking a dedicated grounds maintenance worker for the St. Cloud campus. The role focuses on keeping grounds, parking areas, walkways, and athletic facilities well-maintained and accessible.

This essential position may involve snow removal and requires a Class B CDL (or obtain within 6 months). Hours are 7:30am–4:00pm, Monday–Friday; full-time employment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Pass a pre-employment physical examination and background check.
• Class B commercial driver's license or obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Operate various lawn mowers, sweepers, and string trimmers.
• Operate, repair, and install automated turf irrigation equipment.
• Experience doing snow removal in a commercial setting with available equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain campus grounds, parking areas, pedestrian walkways, athletic fields and related facilities.
• Essential during natural or man-made disasters; report for duty as directed and recalled during emergencies.
