The University of Texas Permian Basin is hiring for a Groundskeeper II to maintain a safe, welcoming campus atmosphere. You will perform mowing, edging, mulching, leaf-raking, and irrigation tasks, and assist with minor repairs on facilities grounds. The role requires a valid Texas driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Hours are-day schedule with potential for additional shifts; a High School diploma or GED and one year of groundskeeping experience are required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year grounds keeping experience.
• Valid Texas driver’s license for ≥3 years.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk/stand as required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures around chemicals and hazards.

Responsabilidades

• Mow, edge, trim hedges, rake leaves, mulch and perform seasonal yard tasks.
• Maintain irrigation lines; assist in plumbing-related tasks.
• Pick up litter and empty outdoor trash receptacles.
• Assist in general maintenance like sidewalk repair and field layout.
