Job summary

The University of New Hampshire in Durham is seeking a Grounds Maintenance worker to keep campus grounds, roads, walks and buildings clean, orderly and safe. This is an essential position with mandatory attendance on snow/storm days and during campus closures.

You will perform mowing, weed removal, tree trimming, litter pickup, shoveling, snow blowing and removal, and you will operate and maintain a variety of vehicles and tools. A valid commercial operator's license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating grounds-related equipment.
• Valid commercial operator's license.

Responsibilities

• Grounds Maintenance: mowing, weed removal, trimming trees, picking-up litter, shoveling, snow blowing, snow removal.
• Operate and maintain a variety of vehicles, equipment and tools.
• Assist with special events and moving.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
