Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. seeks a dedicated maintenance professional to uphold campus grounds and facilities. This on-site role handles cleaning, landscaping, basic electrical and mechanical tasks, and supports safety drills and routine repairs.

You will empty trash, maintain landscaping, operate grounds equipment, pour concrete, install signs, paint road markings, and assist in projects. A high school diploma is preferred and a valid Florida Driver License is required; 2–3

Qualifications

• Two to three years general maintenance mechanic experience including basic electrical and mechanical work.
• High School Diploma preferred; Florida Driver License required (no more than 4 points).

Responsabilités

• Empties all trash cans as scheduled.
• Maintains grounds clean as scheduled.
• Powers, washes and removes gum from entrances as scheduled.
• Blows parking structure and parking lots as scheduled.
• Sweeps and cleans as needed.
• Digs trenches on holes for piping, sprinkler heads, plants, etc.
• Mixes and pours concrete as required.
• Installs signs as needed.
• Paints road markings as needed.
• Plants flowers, shrubs or trees as required.
• Patches holes in the pavement as needed.
• Moves, installs, replaces or removes car bumpers as needed.
• Removes debris from the roads as needed.
• Maintains and inspects all issues related to Life Safety.
• Helps all other trades as needed.
• Assists in all drills and codes.
• Performs other general and routine maintenance functions and repairs on a variety of grounds issues.
• Performs routine inspection and cleaning of storm drains.
• Assists in construction, remodeling and maintenance projects.
• Conducts preventive maintenance and general safety checks related to grounds and equipment.
• Operates ground machinery and tools safely.
• Cuts and trims grass, paints, removes weeds, plants and prunes shrubs, flowers, bushes, etc.
• Waters landscaped areas, grass, plants, and flowers.
• Rakes and blows leaves.
• Sprays lawn, shrubs, and trees with fertilizer, herbicides, and insecticides.
• Cleans, power washes, and sweeps sidewalks, parking lots, and surrounding paved areas.
• Applies sealants to sidewalks, asphalt, and wood.
• Inspects, identifies, and reports equipment and signs that need repair.
• Removes and transfers trash/garbage from the facility area.

Rakes and blows leaves.
