Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington is seeking a Facilities Operations technician for the Groundskeeping team. You will maintain turf, plantings, and hardscape, and perform routine maintenance across campus.

The role requires a high school diploma and 1 year of landscape or light maintenance experience, plus a valid driver’s license. Bloomington-based, full-time with IU benefits and winter/snow response duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year landscape/grounds experience or 1 year light maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to be insured by IU.

Responsibilities

• Maintain turf areas including mowing, edging, and bed care.
• Apply seed, fertilizer, and chemicals as trained.
• Perform snow/ice removal and general maintenance tasks.
• Repair minor walls/drywall and plumbing as needed.
• Maintain parking lots, signage, and curb painting; assist with debris removal.
• Operate relevant grounds vehicles and tools; assist with snow response.
