Job summary

Georgetown University in Washington, DC is seeking a full-time Landscape Gardener II to maintain university grounds on the Hilltop and Capitol campuses. The role covers mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, irrigation, sod laying, and seasonal duties in a safety-conscious outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of grounds landscape maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate pickup trucks, tractors, skid steer loaders, ATVs and other equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform grass mowing, trimming, edging, mulching and weed removal.
• Irrigate lawns and planted areas; lay sod; assist in pesticide application.
• Support monthly seasonal assignments and emergency service requests.
