Job summary

Georgetown University is seeking a Landscape Gardener to maintain campus grounds as part of the Facilities Management team. The role is full-time (40 hours per week) and based on the campus at 37th & O Street NW, Washington, DC 20057.

Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, edging, weed control, irrigation, mulching, reactivating flower beds, sod laying, and assisting in pest control while adhering to safety rules and industry standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• One to three years of grounds landscape maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate landscape equipment.

Responsibilities

• Mow grass, trim and edge lawns; remove weeds and police grounds daily.
• Irrigate lawns and planted areas; mulch beds and reactivate flower beds.
• Lay sod and assist in pest control; follow safety rules and regulations.
