Qualifications

• HS/GED required.
• 3 years experience required.
• Employee must obtain Grounds Technician certification within 2 years of employment.

• Occasional evening and weekend hours; on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Groundskeeping duties: mowing, aeration, seeding, weed control, irrigation system maintenance, bed mulching.
• Athletic Field Maintenance: layout, painting, clearing debris per NCAA guidelines.
• Equipment maintenance: small engine repair and routine inspections for grounds vehicles.
• Arboriculture duties: pruning, planting, pesticide application as needed.
• Snow removal: shoveling and salt application; on-call during winter.
