Compass Group USA’s Chartwells Higher Ed unit is hiring for full-time and part-time grill cook positions at the University of Missouri-Rolla in Rolla, MO. You will prepare foods at the grill station, serve customers, and follow safety and quality standards.

This role requires prior line cook, prep cook, or grill cook experience. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, with a variety of shifts. Online applications accepted only; training and benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders and prepares items requiring short prep.
• Serves customers efficiently and ensures items are at correct temperature and visually appealing.
• Uses ticket-collection procedures and records area activities during service.
• Follows approved recipes and production standards for quality and portions.
• Carries pans and trays safely between stations and storage areas.
• Maintains sanitation and safety throughout the work area.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports issues to supervisor.
