Job summary

IDEA Public Schools is seeking a receptionist to support students, families and staff by delivering excellent customer service and acting as the first point of contact for students, parents and visitors. The role focuses on parent satisfaction, sharing information, coordinating with team members and greeting all visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of clerical office experience preferred.
• Proficient keyboarding and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage front office traffic including visitors and phone inquiries.
• Ensure visitors have appropriate credentials to enter campus.
• Use PowerSchool to locate student schedules for parent pickups.
• Coordinate with teachers and staff regarding pickups and absences.
• Maintain forms and documents for families and events.
• Coordinate and transfer student records while maintaining confidentiality.
• Serve as clinic/Nurse backup as needed.
