Compass Group USA on Nova Southwestern University campus in Davie, FL is hiring for a full-time Food Unit Lead. The role runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with pay range $16.00 to $18.50 per hour. Online applications are accepted only.

Prior food service management or supervisory experience is preferred. Responsibilities include directing staff, ensuring quality customer service, menu planning support, and maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Oversees preparation and service of food and beverages per company standards.
• Helps plan menus.
• Ensures timely, efficient meal service; supervises serving of meals.
• Responds to customer complaints in person and via email.
• Trains employees; assigns and coordinates work for efficiency and excellence.
• Determines work procedures, prepares schedules and expedites workflow.
• Handles daily/weekly/monthly reports (inventory, payroll, time-keeping).
• Directs sanitation and safety of facility and employees; ensures cleaning schedules.
• Issues written and oral instructions.
• Helps select and orient employees; oversees staff training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
