Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Food Supervisor at the University of Maine at Fort Kent to oversee daily food operations and coordinate service staff on site. The role supports management in standard duties across fast casual, cafeterias, events, and cafes, ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

You will participate in training, orientation, and supervision of team members, with an emphasis on a safe working environment and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and fosters a healthy/safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to management in daily oversight of key functions and employees.
• Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility.
• Facilitate orientation and training of employees.
• Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in quality, service, and problem resolution.
• Attend work on time for scheduled shifts; other duties as assigned.
