Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring for a Food Service Utility at University of Wisconsin: La Crosse in La Crosse, WI. The position offers full-time and part-time schedules from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm with online applications accepted only.

Responsibilities include maintaining kitchen work areas, keeping equipment and utensils clean, and assist with setup and delivery of supplies. Prior food service experience is preferred but not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.
• Sweeps and mops floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front of house setup.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
