Job summary

Aramark's Florham Campus location is seeking a full-time Food Service Supervisor to lead our on-site food services team under supervision. You will coordinate operations, oversee staff, and assist with daily production while prioritizing safety and quality.

This role requires strong organizational skills, basic arithmetic, and the ability to resolve interpersonal situations. Some nights and weekend catered events may be required.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year.
• Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and production packets.
• Direct daily activities of staff.
• Ensure food safety and quality per policies and department requirements.
• Store food items in a safe, organized environment.
• Maintain serving schedules and follow menu specs.
• Keep health and safety codes compliant in the department.
• Maintain weekly inventory and assist with orders as needed.
• Supervise, coach, and develop employees; promote teamwork.
