IDEA Public Schools is seeking a CNP Food Service Specialist (FSS) to support the operation of a food preparation and service area for students. You will serve customers, stock supplies, operate POS, and maintain clean kitchens under the Cafeteria Manager.

Responsibilities include following recipes, monitoring students during meals, cleaning duties, and assisting with loading/unloading weekly food. The role is full-time and on-site with competitive hourly compensation and performance bonus

Formación

• 1+ years of work experience in a physically active role.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds solo and up to 50 pounds with a partner.
• Ability to obtain a locally recognized manager food safety certification.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in food preparation and ensure food safety and quality for students.
• Provide customer service and interact with staff, students and families daily.
• Operate food service equipment and maintain spaces, report equipment issues to the Cafeteria Manager.
• Assist in cafeteria cleaning duties: sweeping, mopping, wiping tables, washing dishes, trash disposal.
• Load and unload weekly food and non-food products.
