Job summary

Aramark on campus is hiring a Student Food Services / Catering Worker. You will help prep food, follow safety guidelines, and master customer service and social skills as you work with our team.

No prior experience is required; we’re looking for students who are ready to be trailblazers with Aramark and pursue what matters while developing practical food service abilities.

This role may involve lifting, standing for long periods, and adherence to PPE; duties vary by location and client needs.

Qualifications

• Guest service skills
• Previous food service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions
• Properly stores food in accordance with standards
• Sets up workstations including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables
• Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes workstations
• Serves food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating needs
• Replenishes food items and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including food safety and sanitation
• Ensures security of company assets
