Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services in Wichita, KS is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Food Service Worker positions at multiple campus locations. We offer online applications and flexible schedules, with days and hours varying.

Prior food service experience is preferred and training is provided. As a Food Service Worker you will prep, serve, and assist with food safety, sanitation and customer service while following all company standards.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience is preferred.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time; days and hours may vary.
• On-site at Wichita State University locations; online applications accepted only.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients; cleans work areas and equipment.
• Stores food following wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures; adheres to safety standards.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment; follows recipes and portion controls.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner; resolves concerns and relays information to supervisor.
