Job summary

The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, seeks a Quality Assurance Coordinator to lead the campus dining quality program and serve as liaison with South Carolina regulators. You will drive audits, report findings to leadership, and coordinate equipment maintenance and replacements across dining locations.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and proven ability to interpret regulations, with strong organizational and communication skills. Evening/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and experience in food safety and quality control.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Ability to analyze data to determine compliance with regulations, standards and contracts.
• Strong organizational and managerial skills and ability to work with diverse people.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes a quality control audit plan with approximately 200 audits per year across campus dining locations.
• Prepares and presents audit reports to senior leadership and foodservice contractors.
• Maintains inventory of all foodservice equipment and coordinates repairs with Facilities & Engineering and vendors.
• Tracks purchase information and warranty dates; supports equipment replacement scheduling and surplus removal.
• Represents Auxiliary Services on committees and attends meetings as needed.
• Plans, implements and coordinates special projects in support of institutional goals.
