Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain offices, support buildings, and grounds on the Memphis campus. The role covers plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general break/fix tasks across assigned areas.

You will run work tickets, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with moves, events, and vendor work. Candidates should have 2+ years in facilities maintenance and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Preferred: plumbing systems, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and floors/roofs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry.
• Maintain interiors and exteriors, paint, patch walls, tile and carpet replacements.
• Inspect walls, floors, fixtures, doors, and building envelope.
• Respond to work tickets for leaks and HVAC issues; perform preventive maintenance.
• Assist janitorial staff and set up events; move furniture; manage waste.
• Support campus operations; operate forklifts and lifts as needed.
• Open, track, and resolve electronic work tickets.
• Follow safety guidelines at all times.
