Job summary

St. Alphonsus Liguori Parish in Zionsville is seeking a detail-oriented Campus Maintenance Technician to oversee campus-wide maintenance activities, including scheduled and emergency work, preventative maintenance, special projects and working with volunteer groups.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years related experience in maintenance, construction, landscaping and facility management.
• Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs safely.
• Able to complete work both indoors and outdoors.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Formal certification, licensure or degree-level expertise is not required; hands-on experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completion of scheduled and urgent maintenance of parish building interiors and exteriors, utilities, fire systems, access systems, kitchen equipment, doors and windows, sidewalks and parking lots, tools and equipment
• Routine maintenance and light repairs of parish owned tools, machinery and equipment
• Support vendor-driven and in-house upkeep of the grounds including lawn care, pond care, snow removal, parking lot maintenance, landscaping and walkways
• Available to be on-call for emergencies and back-up support
