Qualifications

Physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Strong practical carpentry skills and broad knowledge of building maintenance, tools, and equipment.
Trade license, certification, or formal apprenticeship training preferred but not required.
Ability to troubleshoot problems, work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively with others

Responsibilities

Perform carpentry repairs and improvements, including doors, hardware, cabinetry, trim, drywall, shelving, and general building repairs.
Complete a wide range of general maintenance tasks, including painting, furniture repairs, installations, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
Assist with campus grounds maintenance, seasonal upkeep, and snow and ice removal.
Set up and break down school events, including moving and arranging tables, chairs, staging, furniture, and equipment.
Participate in all departmental responsibilities as needed, including occasional evening and weekend events.
