Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to carry out general labor and grounds keeping across campus facilities.

You will operate light to heavy maintenance equipment, perform minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and vehicle upkeep, and follow written instructions. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license, plus related experience, are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in a maintenance or campus setting preferred.
• Must be able to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsabilités

• Perform grounds maintenance and trash removal on campus grounds.
• Operate light to heavy grounds equipment and tools.
• Maintain grounds equipment with routine servicing and records.
• Conduct minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
• Assist with vehicle cleaning and routine maintenance as needed.
• Work in varying weather and follow safety procedures.
