Job summary

University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Northwest Regional Campus seeks a Maintenance Technician to manage landscaping, grounds upkeep, and essential facility systems across 12 buildings. The position requires 5 years of maintenance/landscaping experience, a high school diploma or GED, and knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
• Five (5) years of maintenance or landscaping experience.
• Valid AR driver’s license with fewer than 12 points on the MVR.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine landscaping care including mowing, edging, trimming, seeding and fertilizing across campus.
• Inspect and maintain building systems such as boilers, HVAC, plumbing and electrical across 12 facilities.
• Ensure safety standards, document maintenance activities, and coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs.
• Assist in weather-related clearance of roads, walkways and parking areas and support department goals as needed.
